About Bethany
Bethany Marcel is a writer in Portland, Oregon. Her work has been published in The Sun, TriQuarterly, Literary Hub, The Normal School, Creative Nonfiction, Longleaf Review, Post Road, and elsewhere. She’s been awarded two Career Opportunity Grants from the Oregon Arts Commission and her work has been supported by conferences and residencies, including Tin House and Vermont Studio Center. She’s an assistant editor at The Rumpus.
As a freelancer, she also offers ghostwriting and editing.
She is currently working on her first book.
